How to Recreate Giggle From Roblox Doors! 3/10đźź©

Hello, Gimkitters! It’s me, Landyn, back with a NEW guide! I recently started a poll on which entity you wanted me to cover next, and surprisingly, everybody REALLY wanted me to do it on Giggle Mechanics! Welp, if it’s Giggle you want, it’s Giggle you’ll get! But first, let me give you the lowdown on what even IS a Giggle.

What Is A Giggle?

A Giggle is one of the entities you can encounter throughout the second floor in Roblox Doors. Canonically, Grumbles (Another entity) are matured Giggles, and another entity you can encounter in both floors, Screech, is a corrupted version of a Giggle.

How Does A Giggle Function?

Giggles’ main method of attacking the player is by sticking to the ceiling of a room. When you enter the room, it makes a high-pitch squealing noise, (Hence the name “Giggle”) and when the player walks under the Giggle…
BAM!
It latches onto the player’s face and holds on TIGHT. You can temporarily stun a Giggle using a light source, so you’re not completely hopeless.

With all that out of the way, let’s get started!

What You'll Need

2 Zones
1 Movement Meter
1 Game Overlay
1 Damager
1 Repeater
1 Checker
1 Trigger

Methodology

Step 1. Place a zone where you want the Giggle to spawn. Have it transmit on Giggle_Light_Check when you enter the zone, and deactivate on that same channel.

Step 2. Grab your checker and have it check when receiving on Giggle_Light_Check, and check for whatever your “light source” item is. I use a black seed. When Check Passes, have it transmit on Giggle_Attack.

Step 3. Place down your repeater, and have it start when receiving on the channel Giggle_Attack. Stop Strategy is After Period Of Time, in which the time is 6 seconds. The task interval is 0.5 seconds, and have it transmit on Giggle_Damage.

Step 4. Place down your movement meter, and have it NOT active on game start, and make it active on the channel Giggle_Attack, and deactivate on the channel Giggle_Over. Set the item to whatever item you know you will NOT use.

Step 5. Place down another zone, in the same exact place as the previous zone, have it NOT active on game start, and have it activate on Giggle_Attack. Have it transmit on Show_Giggle_Button.

Step 6. Create a Button Game Overlay with the overlay text of Help Player. When button clicked, have it transmit on Hide_Giggle_Button, Giggle_Over. Have it Deactivate on the channel Hide_Giggle_Button.

Step 7. Place down a trigger that triggers on the channel Giggle_Attack, has a delay of 6 seconds, and wire it to the game overlay. When Triggered → Hide Overlay.

Step 8. Grab that Damager and have it deal 5 damage on the channel Giggle_Damage.

Simple As That!

El Goblino Summary

Oye, you! C’mere! Yes, you! Let me help you out. With all this nerd mumbo jumbo, it’s hard to understand what Landyn’s saying, so of course, he needs me to save his guide ONCE AGAIN. And I’m not even getting paid for this! SIGH… Whatever. Let’s just get this over with.
So basically, when you step into the Giggle Zone, the repeater starts that deals you damage every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds. However, a friend can walk up to you and press the Help Player button and save you from your torment early!

Let me know what entity you want me to make next, and how I can improve my guides! I can always use the feedback!

Also, please let me know if my mechanics can be improved. I feel like all of my ideas are super simple, and I just have a feeling that I’m not the first person to come up with these ideas…

I won’t judge, but I wanna mention a little something called trigger loops.

AHHHHHHHH
..and that, is the true horror

Doesn’t that mean it would attack you only when you have light source?

So..you are using the movement meter as a speed modifier?

this is actually a pretty good guide but the way im currently doing it us just putting little planks/wood in the ground indicating where the giggles are and then just damaging them

dude if you want to giggle just laugh :joy::joy::joy:
