In this guide, I will show you how to make one random person be on a different team than all the other players. This is useful for games like Among Us or a tag game, so that one person is a certain role apart from everyone else.
Materials
Here is what you will need for this guide:
Relay
Team Switcher
Lifecycle
2x Spawn Pads (Optional)
Instructions
First, place down the lifecycle. Set it to transmit (Channel) on Game Start. It should look like this:
Great! Now, put down a relay and set audience to Random Player. Set it to relay when receiving on (Channel From Before), and set its relay channel to (New Channel). It should look like this:
Nice work! We’re almost done. Now, place down the team switcher and change its switch strategy to Specific Team. Set the team to switch to on Team Two, and set the switch configured teams to (New Channel From Before). It should look something like this:
Awesome! Now it’s time for the spawn pads (Optional).
Warning!!!
Only do the spawn pads if you want to tell everyone that the player is not on their team. For a game like Among Us, where you want to blend in, this is strongly discouraged.
Okay, now that you know that, it’s simple to have the chosen player spawn at a separate place. For the unchosen players, place the spawn pad wherever you’d like and make sure to switch allowed team to Team One. That is the only thing that matters. That spawn pad should look something like this:
For the chosen player’s spawn pad, place the spawn pad wherever you’d like and change the allowed team to Team Two. It should look like this:
Good work!!! Now we’re done. I hope this guide helps you!!! Please tell me if I did anything wrong, and I hope you enjoyed this guide. I’ll see you in the next one!!!
