How to make throwable acid! (4/10)

Intro

Hey, I’m back, so… welcome to this guide of…

How to make throwable acid!

Let’s begin! (Oh, and give a like if you can!)

Collecting the Acid

Grab a button, and set it to invisible on game start. Make it so the button transmits on “button.pressed” when pressed. Next, place a green vial prop over the button, and set it to disappear when receiving on “button.pressed,” and make the button deactivate on that same channel.

Now, grab a game overlay, and set it to be a button and to show when receiving on “button.pressed.” Have the button’s text say “Throw Acid.”

Throwing the Acid

Now that you have your acid, you have to throw it. Get a relay, and set it to random player. Wire the game overlay to it: button pressed —> relay. Now, make it so the relay transmits on “acid.thrown.”

Grab a damager device, and set it to deal 1 damage. Set it to deal this damage when receiving on “acid.thrown.”

Now grab a trigger and set it to trigger when receiving on “acid.thrown.” Now set the trigger to not visible in game and set it to transmit on “acid.damage” when triggered. Set the trigger to have a delay of 1, 1.5, or 2 seconds (depending on how often you want the damage to be dealt to the player you threw acid at.) Then, set the max triggers to how much damage you want the player to take. For example, 10 max triggers for 10 damage, 20 for 20, etc.
