I also need help making a scene at the start of the game splitting the teams.
For your first question, I don’t think changing team names is possible. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong)
As for your second question, that would take a ton of memory, and would be really hard to make it look actually good.
Okay but I am making a cops and Robbers game and I need people to know what team they are on.
You could put an indicator at the start of the game saying:
Team 1 = Cops
Team 2 = Robbers
You can also go to “Map Options” — “Teams”
Then go to “Ally Indicator” and enable it:
This allows the opposing teams to see who is on their team and who isnt
Can you make 2 teams, and split them equally?
Let me try that I will be right back
I know how to put indicator on but how do you make it say cops and Robbers?
You can’t (Im 99% sure)
You said you can in your post a couple posts up
You can’t.
For the cutscene, use a camera point.
They techniclly didn’t say you can, just that 1 team can be cops and the other can be robbers. Also.
Whaaa I didn’t search it up >:(
ok I did.
googley:
No, you cannot make an ally indicator say “ally” in Gimkit because there is no such built-in feature for a custom indicator. The game modes do not allow for custom text labels to appear over ally players in the same way an enemy indicator would function, according to search results about Gimkit game modes and mechanics.
@NagiSeishiro congrats on regular btw :D.
Guess that idea was a bust
No, what I said is you could use text to indicate that team 1 is cops, and team 2 is robbers
Summary
tysm!
What ally indicators actually do is just change the name tag thing’s color.
If on same team: green name tag
If enemy team: red name tag
This also applies to sentries, just with a bobber thing instead of a name tag
You should probably mark a solution!
did they understand how to make the cutscene? if they do, then yea they should mark a solution :D.
I mean?
I guess, I like cutscenes, there worth the memory for me at least.
I guess it does depend on how long the scene is
