How to make rising lava with spectators

Hello! Before you start telling me there is already a guide on Floor Is Lava, this is different. It’s for adding spectating as well as for easier replayability. Thank you. This will be broken up into 6 parts.

Lobby

Make a small rectangle of a block of your choice for the Lobby.

Add a button with these settings

And a lifecycle.

And wire it to the button

This will make it so that only the host can press it.
It is up to you to teleport players here.

The Base

First, make a large rectangle out of a block of your choice, like as shown.

After this, make small jumps up and down along the side of a larger rectangle encircling the first one.

Next, add a large zone covering the bottom section of the rectangle.

With these settings

After that, add a respawn device nearby.

Add a counter next to that
image

And a repeater next to it
image

With settings like this

Tech + Barriers

Wire up the zone and respawn like this

And the repeater and counter like this

Set the counter’s settings so

Next, add a barrier and size it to match the zone, like this:

Change its color and settings to these:

You should now have this:

The Top

Add a zone at the top, wherever you want the players to reach.

Point System (Optional)

Add a counter

With these settings

And a trigger

Wire the zone to the trigger

And the trigger to the counter

Add an end-game device.

And wire it to the counter

Now, whenever a player reaches the top, they will score a point.

Spectating

Add a spawn pad, if you don’t already have one.

And a repeater with these settings

As well as a lifecycle with this setting

Wire the lifecycle to the repeater

And the repeater to the teleporter

Conclusion
As you can tell, I left a lot up to you, Such as how to get the players out while waiting for the next round. I hope this works well for you.

good job, but you may want to use a trigger clock instead of a repeater

great first guide!

agreed.

i think it was something triggering a trigger that triggers another trigger that triggers the first trigger and increments a counter and when the target value is reached, it deactivates the first trigger

I used zones, too. [1] Warning: you only get 64 zones, so make sure they’re the right size.
