How to make Potatoland

Welcome to… Potatoland!

If you don’t know what potatoland is, it is a fictional theme park that Goofy (from Mickey Mouse stories) made up. More info: Potatoland

Why would they want to build some random themepark in their projects, Luke?

“Well, shut up, Morris >:( It’s kool, okay?”

Any-who, let’s start!

Base

For the main part of it, use A LOT of Cracked Desert (White)

“But luke, what about the people who don’t have the ticket?”

"THEY CAN GET A JO- they can also use Dry grass"

Now lets make it :sparkles: BETTER :sparkles: using Cracked Desert (Red) or Dirt

All good? Now let’s just add a few more details…

“Luke did you try to texture your terrain again…”

“Yes, and it looks great…?”

“…”

"What is that supposed to mean? :sad_but_relieved_face:"

You can texture your terrain how you want. I have little to no experience.

Entrance Sign

To make the entrance sign start out with two metal poles (Make sure that they are the longest ones)

Next add multiple metal signs to make it look like the actual sign, but make sure to tint them a blue!

Next, slap some text on top of those signs that say, you guessed it, ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM- Potatoland!

Note: to create the best look, make every two letters or so a seperate text device so you can get that Curve.

Next you need to add THE POTATO

You can make this using an item image. Just tilt it a bit and change the size. Then for the little connector things, get text and type “~” and change the color and connect it.

Walls

Now that you have that done, build the wall for it using stone barriers

Now in the show the walls have burlap on them.

“But, Luke, GimKit doesn’t have a fabric or cloth prop yet how are you going to do thi-”

“I WAS ABOUT TO GET TO THAT CHILL”

Now you just tint the prop:

That way it also kind of looks like it’s made out of potatoes!
But if you HATE that, then you could just leave it as is.
For the tint I used a code of
R: 168
G:121
B:67

The point of Potatoland is that there are infinite possibilities. Add what you want, just make it look old and pottato-ey.

Hope this guide helps cure the forums :]

This is a n interesting guide @Luke. Maybe add some rides into it? Maybe a potato themed roller coaster with potato carts? Or a teacup ride but instead of teacups it’s potato salad. You could use this emoji: :green_salad:

loll I love it. I’ll get to work!

I’ll make this is wiki so that people can edit. (Wait, how do I do that?)
Wait wierd. I can edit your comment lol (- @Luke ) I made it a wiki

Unfortunately I can’t yet :sad_but_relieved_face:

You need to be a Regular I think.

Regulars cannot make other people’s posts wikis. Only their own. You made your own post a wiki.

Luke, are you planning on adding functionality to this?

Do you mean adding buildings?

No, I mean using devices to make something actually happen.

Oh. No I wasn’t planning on it, but now that I think about it, I could add some devices to make it so you can enter buildings or have functioning roller coasters…

Nah you don’t have to.

Just gonna move this to art.

Since that’s what it is.

art guide lol

Not Forcing, but this would be better in CMG (Community Made Guides) because this could help some other people. :+1:

Ok so I guess I’m at a creating blank because I have only three ideas for buildings rn. Does anyone have fun potato-themed rides, attractions, or even food stands for this?

Fries, mashed potatoes, boiled potatoes, potato chips.

This is an art guide since it has no function, it’s for decoration-

I have those. It’s called the Potato Diner, but I need super creative stuff.

I purposefully moved this into art, due to not having any functionality.

But what about this-

Hover ur mouse over the art category button for a sec, and read the pop-up.

Hmm. Well it doesn’t exactly matter what it’s in, I guess. Both match it in a way. Let’s go back on-topic :+1:

A food stand that sells wacky potato themed products, like a potato machine that fires potatoes.
