How to make "Plants vs. Zombies"?

I’m making a game like “Plants vs. Zombies”, but I don’t know how to make it… If you guys could give me some ideas on how to make it, that’ll be great!

I like It! ou could probably use sentries for the plants (team one) and for the zombies, you’d need to figure out a way to move pickaxe armed sentries forward every few seconds (this will take a lot of memory) The Gimkit team might make moving sentries soon (It is a new year) so you could just wait for that

Oh, okey. I’d like ur post, @MikeyJonn, but I’m already out for the day :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

@Reaper_leviathan, just, no. Gimkit haven’t made moved sentries for us for a reason. It’s likely never going to come out to GKC and, if it does, it will almost certainly be Season Ticket only. You could probably do something with damagers and the custom shape though. You could only have 100 sentries in the game and assuming you wanted some actual gameplay and good looking stuff that would lower to 80, not enough to make this work whatsoever easily. Your best bet is damagers and custom shapes that look like zombies.

or

you could have other players be zombies, with player-scoped barriers preventing them from changing lanes while sentries(plants) shoot at them

Building off of that, you could lower team zombies speed, and, Instead of having sentries as plants, you could have players with a speed of 0, and game overlays to answer questions, upgrading their gadgets. when the zombies reach the zone the plants are in, they win. also, you could make the zombies slowly get faster as the game progresses

For cat

RIP man TwT when will u b back, if ever? also can u post the sheets in ur bio 4 me 2 c? @TheCatIsCrazy ?

I don’t want players though… If it’s possible, I want sentries.

You’re going to have to do custom shapes and damagers then, it’s the only way. Please mark a solution.

Why it’s the only way.

There is 100,000 memory in a Gimkit map, and 1000 memory per sentry, that means that you only have 100. For good game design, and device needing elements, you will need around 20,000. That leaves 80 sentries max. Unfortunately, you can’t cram 80 sentries into one place and expect Gimkit to work, it would inevitably crash in the editor when trying to load it all in. Therefore, using teleporting sentries wouldn’t work.
