sorry, what?
when i go on chromeOS, double clicking does not do anything
Like click with two fingers
again, does not do anything
pretty sure mice donāt have a way of detecting clicking with 2 fingers
you should probably clarify that and say mousepad instead of chromeos
Iām using the track pad
bruh
chromeos can be on any device
are you serious
just say trackpad
no because on a regular trackpad you can right click like normal
what?
noā¦
thatās not how trackpads workā¦
and what is a āregular trackpadā?
Well thats how my Lenovo Ideapad works. also we need to stop being off topic
trackpads are all the same⦠I am ON chromeos lol
no, this is related to the guide.
and i just looked that up and it just has a trackpad
no right/left click seperate buttons
Before you try to use your Chromebook touchpad to right click, we suggest you quickly check if the tap-to-click feature is enabled or not. That way, you can easily tap your touchpad to get things done. Hereās how to do this:
- Open the Quick Settings panel on your Chromebook and go to Settings.
- Now go to āDeviceā, āTouchpadā, and youāll be able to see if āEnable tap-to-clickā is on or off. If itās off, go ahead and toggle it on.
You can now right-click on a Chromebook using just the touchpad. Weāre calling it the two-finger tap method ā simply put two fingers on the touchpad, and tap them on it at the same time.

huh?
yeah thatās how all trackpads workā¦
Iām going to stop I Fixed the Guide
what
no you didnāt
a) you donāt need to specify chromeos and notepad, itās the same for all trackpads
b) double clicking is clicking once on a gaming mouse and having it register two or more clicks. this is done by adjusting the debounce time so that you can lightly tap it as well as push it all the way down. you meant to say two-finger clicking.
Uh⦠how did this turn into something about clicking, double-clicking, and trackpads
I donāt know?
@DDerryberry yes you do
@VoidFluffy because derryberry said āif youāre on chromeos, double click instead of right clickā which was wrong in⦠letās seeā¦
three different ways!
@DDerryberry actually, another thing: chromeOS, no matter how different it is, could never decide your hardware. itās a software.
Can we please stop arguing!!
but you didnāt fix it
it still says chromeos
which is just confusing
and, still, IT SAYS DOUBLE CLICK AND NOT TWO-FINGER-CLICK
