How to make cool entrances. (0/10 or ⬜)

Creator’s note: This works better in top down- view

Step 1

To begin, add a pathway that matches the entrance well.

Step 2

Add poles (props, barriers, or item images) on either side of the path. I would use wooden poles for more rustic gates, metal ones for modern entrances and corn stalks (empty) for floral gates, like this:

Step 3

Third, add a top of your choice on the top layer.
For this these gates I designed, I used a combination of item images sentries, and props!!! I would use a main prop or something to connect the entire top part of the entrance together. In my fall one, it’s the pumpkin. In the winter one it’s the wooden log. In the spring one its the bush! In the summer one its the starfish. :maple_leaf:. :snowman_with_snow: :hibiscus:

(If you use sentries make sure they are friendly)

Which gate is your favorite???

  • Fall gate
  • Winter gate
  • Spring gate
  • Summer gate

This is a nice guide but I agree with @G-Code549 because there really are no instructions and it is mad short. But I couldn’t find any guides like this.

Wow, that is one detailed entrance! Love the design of and overall, Great guide! Just that you need some instructions.

However, this guide is a little short, and I recommend you adding more entrances, like for each season maybe.

Hmm.

You’ll need pictures for an artsy guide.

Hmm, layer things please @SirWyWy

That’s actually kinda w lol, except for the layering

If I had to give critics…
I would say…

  • Make it longer (maybe by including other themes + including an item list
  • Include collision settings (no one will get through with collision on.

Really good, you showed everyone how to do this, but there were some things you missed.

Again, really good, but it’s still a simple concept.

You had some, but not all.

Or

Step 1

Blah blah blah (the guide)
This one is the 1st method

I have some constructive criticism too. The terrain that makes up the pathway matches well, but must be mixed with some circular or non-blockular terrain on the side to make it look less… cut-off. Oh and if you don’t like that — put the poles on the very edge of the pathway to avoid the cut-off look. Also, to make this guide better, add multiple different entrances.

Use Layered terrain or else-

Ahh blocky
