How to make an advancing zone like the storm in fortnite (4/10)

Today I will teach how to make an advaning zone that slowly shrinks like the storm from fortnite. First guide I hope you like it

What you will need for this guide

1. Zones (Number depends on the game)
2. One lifcycle
3. Triggers (Number depends on the game)
4. One repeater
5. One damager

Step One

Take out a zone and set to not be active on game start also make it visible in game
Then make set so when player enters zone transmit on “In Zone” and when player leaves zone transmit on Out of Zone

Step Two

Get out a repeater and a damager

Then configure the repeater how I have it

Step Three

Set the damager to how ever much damage you want to be done every second
I chose 10 for example

Then wire the repeater to the damager like so

Step Four

Take out a lifecycle and a trigger

Then wire them like so

Then configure the trigger like so
and you can set the trigger delay to how long you want until the zone advances
I did 10 seconds but I recommend 60-120 seconds

Step Five

Add as many triggers as you want times the zone advances

AND FOR EVERY TRIGGER YOU ADD YOU HAVE TO MAKE A SEPRATE CHANNEL FOR AND A SEPERATE SET OF ZONES

Assemble you zones

Now your done

Please Never Use Repeaters (and a guide on looping)

This is really important. I see so many people using repeaters, but they are literally THE MOST USELESS DEVICE IN THE GAME. Everything about a repeater is inefficient. Let’s start with their most basic functionality. Repeating a signal. Let’s say it sends out on channel X every second. WOAH! We can do that with triggers too! If it has a delay of one, sends on channel X, and receives on channel X, WOW! It’s literally the same exact thing but with TEN TIMES THE MEMORY EFFICIENCY.
