IDK are you?
I don’t read minds.

this will probably be a rare tag, but the outdated tag means that the post is old and will probably get an updated, easier to follow version

TBH I think it’s better if we just ask the user for consent to do that first, as it seems a little bit rude to just mark their guide outdated without notice.

I know this guy irl, he has told me that he doesn’t remember how it worked (or if it ever worked), and he just shrugged, so I think it’s ok

@Blackhole927 knows @kyro?

Because it seemed like @NavyCatZ was responding to you, and @Blackhole927 said he knew the person @NavyCatZ was talking about, so I though @Blackhole927 was referring to you. Sorry for the confusion

pretty sure this guide wasn’t made to be easy people

A fatal combination of bad wording, no pictures, no explanations on why things were done the way they were, nothing in the comments, and no better/easier to understand version can turn something revolutionary into this.

Do you understand what the guide does? I still can’t quite decipher what it does.

I’ll try to test it out now and see if it works.

I have a question about the thing though. Wouldn’t this system be incompatible with the imposter team switcher, because the thing that switches you back could also switch the imposter to the crewmate side?

That’s what confused me. Since there’s no clear explanation of what each step does (ignoring that I was getting a stroke trying to read this) you can’t really tell until you test it.

That could probably be remedied by checking the player’s team number stored in a property before and then transmitting to a team switcher depending on the value of the property…

I’ve found some areas that could be improved.

1: The guide should account for the fact that the imposter is on a separate team. It might be okay for some other game but the guide is specifically aimed toward making among us.

2: The guide tells you to turn off the leaderboard, but that won’t work because of the leaderboard glitch that allows people to see the imposter.

3: Correct me if I’m wrong but they should have included a way to increment a counter. I can’t find anything about the counter other than the stuff about its target value.

4: The counter is completely reliant on you knowing how many people are joining.

5: I have no idea what the first trigger and its barrier is for.

6: The channel “Lockself” isn’t put into any device other than the second trigger. Also, there aren’t any devices that transmit on channel “SendWarningNotification.” Again, correct me if I’m wrong.

7: The checker checks the score, yet voting is not linked to the score in any way. Even if it was, it checks the specific amount of votes, not if a player has the majority.

8: There isn’t anything that can activate the relay.

9: On step 8, they forgot to mention the settings for the team switchers.

10: There’s no way to trigger trigger 3.

11: There’s no indication of how you can trigger the voting process (at least from what I can tell)
