How to make a summon sentry feature (fixed)

ahoy party people so today I finally figured something out how to summon a sentry so here is what you need x1 zone x1 trigger x1 sentry x1 game overlay (any sentry you want) ok so you would want to make the game overlay like this

then for the text do anything here is what I did

wire the game overlay to trigger “button pressed trigger”
ok then you set the trigger delay to how much sec you want before the sentry despawns like this

:warning:IMPORTANT MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THE TRIGGER NOT VISIBLE IN GAME AND CANT BE TRIGGERED BY COLLISON and make the overlay not visible at game start same with trigger
wire the zone to the game overlay “player enters zone show over lay”
then wire the game overlay to sentry “button pressed activate sentry”
THEN wire the sentry to trigger “triggered deactivate sentry”
and ta da you have it a summon sentry feature peace oh yeah don’t have to do the zone part that is opionial

It stands for Community Made Guides, you set the topic as Help at first, but this is a guide.
This guide is quite short, I’d recommend you to add more stuffs to it.

I know bud

The explanation really has some space for improvement… anyways why platformer tat, why ideas tag, it does not fit so please change it

Also you can just make this alot more memory efficient by just using channels

you dont have to do the zone part tho to make it easier for you guys :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@Dungeonmaster was not being rude in any way shape or form @paggy they were merely giving you some tips on how to improve your guide. They did not just make a post to insult you also can I suggest that you format the guide more neatly using dropdowns for each section.

Edit: @paggy they did nothing wrong please stop persisting that they were rude.

Edit#2: Thank you @Demo and @No_Longer_A_Noob

…Nothing sounds rude about that?

Instead just snapping at criticism, just take a deep breath and take it all in. There’s a difference between criticizing and being straight rude, and I can agree with @Penguin_eats_turtle, that wasn’t rude… at all. Or off topic? Maybe try to figure out what you did wrong instead of trying to start a flame war.

That’s the point of criticism, to point out flaws that need improvement.

Anyways, it’s your favorite time of day—

  • Fun - 3/10
Nice intro… but you can do more than that!
  • Effort - 10/10
As long as it’s a completed and well worked on guide, it’s a good one.
  • Usefulness - 10/10
This could be used in multiple games, well done!
  • Explanation - 8/10
