How to make a sentry say something new when you come to it a new time?

I am STILL working on the adventure game, I’ve finished the class system and the first interaction for the first NPC, but now I need a new Interaction with the same NPC.

Put your mouse over it can press copy and put it where you want it to be

Idk I’m new to the world of gimcreative or actual coding

I mean the exact same NPC, not a copy I am trying to have the same NPC say something different

If you want another interaction then for the button make it so it can’t be pushed at the beginning of the game and then wire another button for a new interaction.

The Name of the NPC if that is the case then press it and scroll all the way down in featured

I’m not sure that would work with the way I have it set up…
I have a game overlay system, with a popup…

Oh, then how would they interact with the sentry? A zone? A button?

Would would make it so the first button deactivates when the second one activates and when they do the task before you want them to get a different text, send a signal to activate the next one and deactivate the previous one. Btw when you get what you need, mark a solution

You mean randomly chosen text?

It’s like the mayor mechanics of the fishtopia game

When you interact with it it increases a counter, and you can link that counter to a property and if it’s a certain number it can have a new thing.

Examples

1: pick up trash
2: help build something
3: find out about a mystery

once you have the popup open have it where if you press a button it will give you a new popup
