I am making a clicker game. @Here_to_help and others helped me make the clicker system. I want to make the player press the button and then if they have enough clicks it subtracts any amount of clicks.
Set a goal on the counter you’re using that resets the counter when reached. That should reset it without any other changes to the system you used.
Oh, a currency system? I got confused since you only said reset lol
It wont work, because the player can buy multiple areas. And what if the player has more than what is needed they will lose all of that.
Ok just saying on an item giver you can subtract a certain amount from the player.
So lets say we have 100 and then the player buys smth for 48. They will still have 52.
No but this is not a gimkit currency. So item granters would need block code I think.
are we not using item givers for currency (gimbuck or whatever its called?)
The currency is clicks in my game is clicks.
Ok so we can give the player (anything) and then subtract it from them so lets say when they click they get fish, but the player wont see or know they got the fish. Then every click = 1 fish. So when they buy smth the fish subtract without the player knowing it was fish, but they think it was their clicks
No but I don’t want to switch currencies because the player can have infinite clicks but not infinite gimkit items.
You are not switching currencies… It is just any easier way to count how much money the player has by invisibly giving the player smth to keep track…
INFINITE CAN JUST BE REPRESENTED BY A BUNCH OF 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999…
How would they get the fish by item granter or something like that?
Button pressed = player granted 1 fish
BTW VENDING MACHINES ARE NOT THE WAYYY
They can easily be recreated by a button and some text to look neater!
I think you’d have to use a vending machine that transmits on a channel. Then, a checker that activates once receiving on that channel. It checks a property value (the currency).
This is all hypothetical, but since you’re using custom currency and not something in Gimkit, then this is the only way I can think of.
Why?
Forgot that buttons wired to a checker is a thing ![]()
I am thinking I could use the triggers block code. But the thing is I don’t know how to.
So let me get this straight you want the player to be able to buy stuff with clicks???
I GOT U
Btw the CLICK ME is the pics…
Yes!
Then add some stuff to make it look like they are selling their clicks! (ping me if u need that)
SOLUTION TIMEEEE
Wait, how does the player get the evil eye?
Button pressed then wire that to an item giver
You said every click equals plus a gimkit item. Right?
