I get the problem with ingenuine compliments, but there isnāt anything inherently wrong with thanking a single compliment; itās not filling up the chat.

@x.mochi isnāt thanking everyone who compliments her, just one person. Thatās not spam. If, however, she was thanking EVERYONE who made a compliment (even just nice guide) that would be spam.
