How to make a KO / WO Ratio | Difficulty: 🟦

yes, yes, I know the guide below exists, but i haven’t seen a KO/WO ratio, and since ratios are fun, im gonna make this, as a slight extension of the guide below

!WARNING! - MATH, and BLOCKS

  1. First, use the properties from the guide above, as those will be needed here, you should also use the systems from the guide to increment the properties. The properties are very important, cuz that’s how you keep track of the two numbers you need.

  2. Place a game overlay, and open the blocks, place the following two blocks in the editor. These are the most important blocks in the code, since, without them, you can’t really show the ratio. Don’t lose these blocks!
    a. “Set Text”
    b. “Create Text With”

  3. Add the text block for your desired text before the ratio. Literally, thats the entire step. What do you want from me.

  4. Finally it’s time for, uh oh, MATH?!?!. For this step add the math equation block, set it to division, and add the properties to do the math to calculate, as its quite easy math (KOs divided by WOs)

And thats how you get a KO / WO Ratio, I hope this is useful, but it’s probably not :]

what does WO mean?
other than that good guide! I’d just reccomend explaining the terms WO and KO

i like it, i like the ratios, the idea is original.
but maybe explain the concepts of how to get a KO or WO property instead of just…
throwing it in there. maybe don’t do it an just link a guide.

this seems like a great ideas that;ll be used a lot, so clarification is super necessary since this needs to be understood (why are there barely any ratio guides??)

great guide overall

@PhoenixWander, Can you show us how to make the properties?
It could clear up some confusion for everyone.
Also, great guide!

Good guide, but maybe a bit too simple.

thats the thing…

i can’t link the guide…

edit: nvm i fixed it

ok so there were some problems with linking the guide that this built off of but i seemed to have figured out how to fix it so, should be good now
