Hello forums and welcome to how to make a map that you can use during game play! First you will need
camera points (depending how big the map is)
4 overlays
Materials for the map
2 wire repeaters
Now firstly, make a miny version of your map like this one
![]()
It’s a tiny town, opps… i stepped on something.
Now you are making overlay #1 have these settings ![]()
And put both scopes on player.
Now make a another overlay and make it have these settings
make this one not visible on game start and also put both scopes on player.
Now get 2 wire reapeaters, wire the 1st overlay to wire rep #1
And like this
And the wire rep back to the overlay like this
Now get a camera point, wire the overlay to the point like this ![]()
You are done with part one! Yay! If you want to take a break, you can, but i will keep going. don’t listen to past me, i was stupid (still kinda am)
Now part to is the closing mechanic
First, wire the first overlay to the second overlay like this ![]()
I renamed it so it’s easier for your underage brain to follow.
Now we are getting another wire rep to use with the second overlay just like we did earlier ![]()
And the wire rep back to the overlay like this
Now wire the second overlay to the camera point like this
Now wire the second overlay to the first one like this ![]()
Now you have a working in-game map you can use! If you have any bugs or have questions write them down
Also i will add more so you can move the map around and see more.
Spyde out…
Dang it, Stepped on another house again!!
