Without further ado, let us begin!

how this works & materials

So when the player presses a button, the player’s speed is set to 0 (auto seat belt)
Then we use triggers (block code) to teleport players one block forward in 0.1 seconds

Materials
1x camera view
2x Property
1x button
1x counter
2x Speed Modifier
1x wire repeater
2x triggers
101x teleporters

construction
Terrain

make a terrain line 100 blocks long

This is what mine looked like you can do whatever to yours

Suggestion: Use tool props (my park janitors have been leaving their shovels and rakes everywhere)

The prep

Button:

Speed modifier:

1rst trigger:

first of the 100 teleporters:

Movement

This is where we use block code!
get a wire repeater, trigger, counter, and 2 property
property 1:

property 2:

counter:
starting value: 0
visible in-game: no
Property: coaster rider

Button, counter: Button pressed – increment counter

get the second trigger:
delay 0.1
visible in-game: no
Trigger by player collision: no

Now the blocks of the second trigger

Now get a wire repeater: (0.0)
trigger 02, wire repeater: triggered – send pulse
wire repeater, trigger 02: receive pulse – trigger

turn on grids, and line up 99 teleporters every block
Line them up though so that it is more realistic

for each teleporter: teleport player here when receiving on channel 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,… 99!
MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT VISIBLE IN GAME

And one last teleporter next to the button

Connect this teleporter to the counter: teleported here – reset counter
teleporter to Speed modifier: teleported here – set player to configured speed (1.00)

Now connect the first teleporter (powered by the channel “send player into seat”) to the wire repeaters

AND YOU ARE DONE!!!

Play the roller coaster

In my bio, I have a link and you can use that link to ride the roller coaster!

Keep it cool!

Great guide! I’ll be sure to test it later.
But whenever I see blocks I’m just like
get awayyy get awayyyyyy
(There’s a reason why my name is I_Like_Props and not I_Like_Blocks…)

I tested it out, this is actually pretty interesting.

coughs, one hundred channels?

yes… eh if you want to move… fast… you kinda have to

You can also use a lot of wire repeaters.

well one trigger is more efficient

But if you’re making a large game, you don’t want 100 channels to be sitting around.

This is my comentary as i read dis guide

Very Smart

This is a amazing guide, however I would recommend removing this:

It could be considered a ad?

other than that this a really cool guide I will be definitely riding your coaster!

No, it’s not an ad, as they are just saying “This is what it does”.

Very cool animation!

its just for ppl who don’t have time to make it but may want to ride the roller coaster
