I’m trying to give a starter item inventory to only team 2 in a hide and seek team so the seekers (team 2) can blast the hiders, but the starter inventory has very few editing options. How can I make this work? Thanks!
Item granter
Whatever you use to decide seeker-item grant
use a zone at the seeker spawn connected to an item granter (Also why don’t you use a tag zone instead of a gadget its much easier)
Get a lifecycle, a relay, and an item granter.
Wire the lifecycle and relay like this:
When event occurs [>] Relay
In the relay, have it set to a certain team, and choose your team.
Then wire the relay and item granter (set the item granter to your item)
When relayed [>] grant item
And you are done!
I can see that you’re new to the community! @Renemers
Make sure to read the FAQ and rules.
Ooh read this too!
How about a couple more! pew and pew
Here is another one of my mini guides for help topics
Equipment
1x Lifecycle
1x Relay
1x Item granter
And you’re all done!
You can ask me about a certain mechanic too or somehow adjust this for you
My boy, I got you
what you gotta do is
- Lifecycle Device: Place a Lifecycle device in your map. Set the Lifecycle device to trigger when the game starts.
2. Relay Device: Place a Relay device in your map. Configure the Relay to filter players based on the specific team you want to receive the starter inventory. Wire the Lifecycle device’s output to the Relay device’s input.
3. Item Granter Device: Place an Item Granter device in your map. Configure the Item Granter device with the item you want to grant to the specified team. Wire the Relay device’s output to the Item Granter device’s input.
4. I will explain it further, When the game starts (triggered by the Lifecycle device), the Relay will filter the players based on their team. The Item Granter will then grant the specified item to any player who passes through the Relay.
@Muffin tell me more about the tagzone. how can I set it up to do the same thing?
thanks I figured out the tagzone myself anyway : - )
