How to drag other gims

How would you make it so that one player can drag another, if possible?

another gim follows the dragging gim’s position, specifically

I wish I had an idea…I don’t think that’s even possible. I’m sorry I couldn’t help!

Even though there are many things that you can do in Gimkit, I believe that this is impossible…

There’s no way to detect the mouse’s position on screen, so I don’t think this would be possible.

No, I just meant that another gim follows the dragging gim’s position, not the mouse

Yeah sadly that is beyond what is capable in GKC, but welcome to the forums @Davvv !! It might eventually be able to be done, but not at this moment

I mean, usually nothing’s truly @Gimpossible, but I’m questioning my own logic now…sorry

Ok I do think this can be possible. You would need a lot of teleporters, a coordinate device, some code, and a speed modifier. I think I’ll be able to help.

Let me start playtesting some things and I’ll get back to you asap.

If this were possible (it might be with coordinate systems and a bunch of teleporters), it would be EXTREMELY hard to do so, and probably take up a bunch of memory to do so.

Really? Dang! If you can make this, Fulcrum, I would be pleasantly surprised! Good luck!

Just a question, HOW exactly would the drag mechanic work?

nevermind that guide was made with text…

Elaborate a little more @Davvv

It’s not gimpossible. Maybe use player coordinate device?

what do you need? (lol)
