So, I’ve been thinking about how to make Roblox Doors. I’ve even played all of the previously made Doors games on GKD. (I was DEEPLY dissapointed how terrible they were. Only one of them actually played and acted like doors) I’m super close, actually! Just one problem: Door 50. Specifically, Figure’s code. In case you have lived in a hole and don’t know what the Figure does, he’s a mini-boss that can’t see and that tracks you by hearing your breath and footsteps. How would I accomplish this?
Apply a system that chooses whether or not Figure moves every time the coordinates device tracks your movement.
How would I do that?
This has really stumped me, and I can’t seem to find a guide that would help me…
Do you want a guide on it?
Yes, please! that would really help
'kay. Might take a while. Mark a solution if you want right now! (or later idrc.)
Figure has a really advanced AI system. Do you want them to hear you taking footsteps, and do you also want them to hear players interacting items (turning on flashlight, lighter, etc etc…)
Both, definitely! I want my game to feel like HE11 for the players
If I know which one you’re talking about, even that one was flawed due to a lack of multiplayer support and not being able to replay it after death.
Yeah, the “Doors (CC) Roblox” and the “Doors but in Gimkit (TGL) Update” ones were the only ones I actually even remotely liked
Yeah you need to use teleport devices for the sentry pathfinding system. Good luck if the map is really huge.
For following and “interacting items sounds”? I don’t know.
