I want to create a hide and seek game, and one random person is the seeker. Then, if a hider is tagged, they automatically become a seeker (I already learnt how to do that).
Welcome to the forums, @VioletMuffin, where some people draw and some people think, and others need those who think!
To answer your question, grab a knockout manager. Then, configure it to these settings:
Then, for a wire repeater, set it to this:
The team has to be the hiding team.
Finally, get a team switcher and set it to this:
Now wire those all together and you’re done!
Do you mean everyone is on their on team?
Like a free for all?
No. I mean one random person starts as the seeker and when others get tagged they also become the seeker.
Oh, then get a relay, set to Random Player, and then wire it to a team switcher that switches someone to the seeking team.
Couldn’t he use the tag zone device?
You could have everyone start on the same team and use a lifecycle set to game start → relay set to random player → team switcher to team 2.
You then have a tag zone that has the tagging team set to team 2. Have a wire connect tag zone → team switcher and have it set to: player gets tagged by someone else → switch player to configured team (team switcher is set to the same team the random person gets set to)
Can you post a picture? I don’t understand how to do this.
Welp here I come
What you’ll need
1x tag zone
1x relay
1x lifecycle
1x team switcher
Steps
First get a lifecycle and set it to game start and broadcast channel to start infection
Then you’ll need to get a relay and set it to a random player and make it relay when receiving on start infection and make the relay channel infected
Then get your team switcher and make it so when the channel infected is brodcasted it switches the player to team 2
And finally your tag zone set the tagging team to team 2 make it the entire map and that should work
Yeah that would be your solution. Please ask any further questions or mark a solution @VioletMuffin if that worked
Wait do you think he wants it so it takes like 20 seconds?
Hmm. It never specifies that. I honestly don’t know if they want that.
If they do, just put a trigger in between the lifecycle and the relay with a delay of (insert desired amount of time)
We’ll have to wait for the op if asks for that.
Hence why I put that (not trying to be rude or anything)
If the seekers is in team one, the tagging team I should probably set to team one, right?
Team 1 will the bidders and team will be the seekers
