How do i make vertical lasers

This is probably an obvious question, but how do i turn the lasers into a vertical orientation, if possible?

Click on the laser, and then click on the change size button in the bottom left corner.
You should be able to drag on the circle to rotate

click, then go to change size. There will be a green circle where you can rotate the object.
