How do I make it so that a message only goes to other players in my team?

I’m trying to make a healing system that only heals everyone else that is in your team. there is a bug in the system where it also heals people who aren’t in your team

I saw that but the thing is I don’t know if it also heals the player who activated the heal, as it isn’t meant to do that.

just tested it and it heals the person who activated it so I can’t use that solution @NPC_da_CPU

? didn’t you want to make the button pressed (or whatever) to heal the person AND the person’s team?

no, I wanted the people in the team Besides the player who activated the heal to get healed.

you want to make a support skill where you heal your team, right?

yes, that heals everyone else on your team

i’m gonna say that it’s definitely possible, but i’d have to think about it…

I mean, you could make a damager to damage the healing player
(the damage is equal to the heal so the player’s health ends up the same?)
I can’t really think of any other solutions rn

i mean, that could work, but if i healed 35 health but i was only down 5 from MY health, i would then take 35 damage and the tradeoff wouldn’t be worth it.

and Fleet wants the team to be healed, but the person healing his team doesn’t get healed.

yeah…

maybe a gimmick is that the health you give is taken from you, making healing a good trade off in the end game, as you can sacrifice your health so that the rest of the team can keep going. I can see good strategies coming from this…

the reason I’m doing it that way is because I’m remaking a mechanic from a game in gimkit and in that game its done that way.
