i need to make it so its pressed one time

Make the button so it deactivates after pressing the button. Use channels or wire repeaters.

how am i supposed to use the wire repeaters to do this?

Put a wire repeater on the screen. Connect a wire from the button to the wire repeater. Than connect the wire repeater back to the button to deactivate the button.

Another way is that when the button is pressed, broadcast on some channel, and deactivate when receiving on that channel.
