I’ve been playing Gimkit for a while now, but i’ve barely gotten into creating my first map, a team game. But I want to know how channels and blocks work, as that option appears on every single device.

@G-Code549, posting and not helping, is bannable, bh said so once.
Think of channels like wires, but more diverse, and without any memory. When something happens, a device sends a signal on a channel, and devices can receive that signal in order to do an action! A whole essay from me will come for blocks, so that may take a while, sorry.
wait I thought I helped a little sorry
That’s too vague to be a viable solution, and most new users don’t even know that there’s a search bar
I would delete your post, or actually give some help to the OP if I were you.
If you’re still struggling with blocks, try out code.org. It’s not the exact same as block code here, but it’ll help you better understand how things work, and coding in general
Channels?
OH they are fun!
its like when something happens, a device will scream "whatever the channel name is " and if another device responds to that sespefic chaneel, then it would do something.
also block code…
have u used scratch?
Also barely started to use that program. I’m just getting starting with coding in general(i’m a freshman rn, thats why).
Another great way to improve your coding skills is to take a coding class, if your school has one. that’s where I started!
Can I get direct help building my game?(like people actually on the game itself)?
Go to the wix or something like that. Codes are not allowed here.
