If I was creating a Pokémon map, how could I show the stat differences between different Pokémon?
You can use pixel art.
But how could I do that within different battles?
maybe you could use barriers
ie to make them look different XD
Or you could make an emoji of it.
I was kinda trying to refer more to stats than looks, but thanks anyway!
You can display the text on the battle field, but if you need to implement switching techniques use properties for each mon and their stats.
Any Pokemon game would take a lot of memory and work, but I think it’s possible. Don’t give up!
You could add barriers and props on sentries and zones with lasers to create custom attacks
Or a giant text emoji display to get the Pokémon anywhere.
I’ve done a pretty decent bit of it, mostly the design of the map and the NPCs but the Pokémon has been the main thing I’ve struggled with. Not so much the turn based battles as it is the designs and the stats.
Maybe try copying and pasting these into text boxes. I don’t know if it’ll work, though.
Tell me if I can help any more!
You can also try tinting the sentries to make different pokemon
It doesn’t seem to work in creative.
Yeah, that’s what I thought. Have you tried pasting row by row?
How do I do that? Also the issue was that it showed up as text not emojis.
