Help with repeater and counter

I need help with with the repeater and the counter. I want to press a button, then like activate a repeater to start decreasing the counter from 60. once it reaches 0, it deactivates a trigger that stops an infinite loop of pop-ups. I have the pop-up part, but not the counter timer part. The repeater keeps on just doing it once instead of 60 seconds or 60 times. I did (button pressed–>start repeater, repeater runs task—>decrement counter, target value reached—>deactivate) But it is not working.
