my first post back is a help post… (not wanted but needed)
Im making a Roblox pressure/doors type game, but the launch ships go different routes with different enemies, and I need help with the lobby (to clarify, the lobby is meant to have a half finished look, it is part of the ship, just it was never connected to the main ship and its sectors)
mainly with the lobby design
the lobby is the starting room when the game begins, and the 2 ship crews meet halfway at the first boss area, then continue with each other, one ship leads to a more pristine and clean area because that part of the station wasn’t raided by the entities, it was abandoned because of the second sector breach, the second ship leads to a more run-down sector of the ship with no lights on, but more gear to be used
Personally I think this is an AMAZING looking lobby
but I guess standards have changed since I was gone.
an idea is to add tinted, translucent barriers over, and under players.
and only use bright colors like lime, cyan, pink, and yellow.
ok let me rephrase what I said, the lobby is meant to look incomplete, it was built during the breaches and the station being abandoned, so there will be blocked off unbuilt areas in certain places of the ship
Block parts of it off using “stripped barriers” (so it looks like a construction site) and use sand piles, and sand bag. Add some tools on the ground. and OBVIOUSLY, spiderrr
