Help with my bossfight (again 😅)

So, I made a bossfight element with a barrier that appears and disappears. But once I knock-out the sentry, I can’t figure out how to make the barrier stay activated (because it looks weird with just a random barrier appearing and disappearing after it has no purpose). How can I make it stop pulsing?

If you need the original post it’s right here.

Can you show the settings for your barrier? [1]
I’ll help me get an idea of what your talking about.

Yep! It looks a bit hectic right now… but you can ignore the popups and stuff that’s not relevant right now.

I put delays in the wire repeaters to make them appear and disappear so it’s not instant.

Because of the wire repeater, it will continue to repeat. If you use a trigger instead that gets deactivated by the pop-up while the popup still hides the prop, it should work.

How would I be able to do that? I used the wire repeaters so there’s no limit on how many times it’ll disappear and reappear. Is there a way to do that with a trigger?

Yeah, there is. The trigger can just replace it, while it takes a little more memory.

How can I set it to where it’ll repeat until i deactivate it?

Wire the pop-up to the trigger. (When pop-up closed, deactivate trigger) Wire the pop-up to the prop. (hide prop)
test and get back to me

It did deactivate, but it’s not reappearing (which is why I added the wire repeaters so they could go indefinitely). How can I make them reappear and then continue the cycle?

Whenever you want it to reactivate, just wire what’s causing it to reactivate to the trigger.

Yes, but the thing causing it only occurs once. So would the popup open every time i need to reactivate it?

For it too go on a infinite cycle after you wire the trigger to the second wire repeater, wire it back to the 1st trigger and then it will continue.

Maybe something like this… check then reply back if it works…

What are the settings for the triggers?

Nope. The pop-up deactivates it. Something else needs to reactivate it, like another trigger or a button.

These are the settings
The trigger when receiving on is ‘Trigger’ This is basically when the player comes into the zone.
the wire settings are:
