Help with Metroid themed upgrades

Hello guys,
So, i want to make the ENTIRETY OF PLANET ZEBES (you know the place from metroid)
As such, i want some help with upgrades!
If you don’t know what i mean, use this: List of items in the Metroid series by game | Wikitroid | Fandom
(look at Metroid: Zero Mission)

Some stuff is easy, like the Long Beam.
But, stuff like Space Jump and Ice Beam will be tricky.
Help is super appreciated!

The problem is the freezing part

You could just set the players speed to 0

yea make it where player damaged set speed to 0 then use a trigger where after a certain amount of time their speed is set bet to 1 (Or whatever the normal speed is)LOL
