Help with lore like in apocalypse

I need lore ideas kind of like the lore in apocalypse.

Maybe the apocalypse is like, fake in a fake reality?

The Apocalypse is a simulated event by a higher being, known as Dr Amnesia.
That’s all I have rn.

First I am talking about the apocalypse gimkit game mode. And so I know what the lore is there I just want ideas so I don’t copy.

So what I know about apocalypse lore in gimkit is that everyone in the apocalypse came from Dr. Aventon’s/Dr. Synapse’s spaceship when it crashed when they were trying to escape. That’s all I know, and I might’ve gotten stuff wrong.

It’s the one way out spaceship, but I cant find it anymore on the map.

You mean, like this?

that is exactly what it is

I thought it was off the map, but I guess i’m guylooking :person_shrugging:

It’s in the top-right corner of the map

Is that new? I’ve never seen that before. But I also have not played apocalypse recently.

Well, it was in the second apocalypse update; the one that said lore had been added.

Oh nice. Also I believe this user wants original lore ideas and not the apocalypse lore.

Alright,
Ideas:

  1. The previous survivors’ items can be found with messages around them
  2. Certain locations (Like walls) can have sprawled on words.
  3. There should be a cabin with a decently good gadget.

Lore:War, war never changes. After many years of nuclear fallout you wake up in a mysterious house with nothing but a slingshot. You slowly discover why and how the world fell apart. You find a man (Dr.Norme) and he tells you that after a small disagreement with the UN the entire Gim-earth decided to release their entire nuclear arsenal and cause destruction. You must survive hordes of mutants and military operatives sent to strike you down.

You could just add onto/continue the lore in Apocalypse

Ideas (aka, Brain dump):
I was sort of inspired by the games Fallout and Stray lol

Climate change wiped out most huma- I mean Gim civilizations, leaving only a lucky few that survived by hiding in weather-proof bunkers. Thousands of years later, the weather has finally started to stabilize, and Gimanity has finally decided to leave the safety of the bunkers and reclaim the world that was once theirs. There’s just one problem, During the thousand years of their absence, the planet was not lifeless, as the Gims once thought. Instead, it blossomed with a new, unexpected life; Robots. While the Gims were hiding in bunkers from the severe weather, the robots they left behind welcomed it, it had no effect on them. You are part of a patrol sent out to reclaim the world, and as the story progresses you will face a choice, befriend the robots, or annihilate them.

Woof, that took a long time to write lol

Time to go fix my horrible grammar…

Also, if you prefer it, the robots could be replaced with some sort of organic life-form, such as an animal, or a sentient, mobile plant

idk

I say this because in real life, weather does have an effect on robots. cold weather could cause them to break down or malfunction. While animals and plants can adapt to changes in climate, robots can’t. Also, robots are susceptible to corrosion and weathering, and organic life-forms are not.

Technically, ai/robots can also adapt

Very top-right or not exactly in the corner

you should add the doctor that makes the virus help the player until a certain point in-game where he betrays you. once you defeat him give the player the choice of giving him mercy or leaving him there for the zombies
