It shouldn’t be that hard. Have it deactivated on game start. Having something transmit a channel when that thing is triggered. Have the laser activate on that channel. Have a trigger with a delay that transmits a channel to deactivate the laser rafter the activation. For example, two triggers. One trigger activates the laser. The other triggers when the first trigger activates and this trigger deactivates the laser with a 8 second delay.
uh can you show me in pictures?
im not very good with instructions with no pictures.
sorry ;-;
Sure! Wait a sec. I’m pulling my map up.
Alright here it is:
The laser’s setting should be set to off on game start. That option is in the Featured section if you scroll down.
uh so i tried it, and the lasers never spawned.
Have something activate the first trigger. Also, your spawning next to where the lasers are placed, right?
no.
you click a game overlay,and it gives you a countdown saying that lasers are about to come.
Oh, I didn’t know you wanted that. Have the channel in the overlay when it is clicked activate a trigger that has an 8 second delay. That trigger would send out a channel after the 8 second delay or whatever time you want it to be that would activate the laser. It will also activate the 2nd trigger that has a 8 second delay that sends a channel when it is triggered to the deactivate laser channel.
oh sorry.
i forgot to mention it because it didn’t think that would interfere with it.
@WSG
could you uh
do pictures for me?
please?
.-.
Sorry, I was helping other people. Wait a sec, I’ll get the images.
Here you go:
Did you need help with the overlay text showing the number countdown?
yes please.
Thanks!
(it might take me like 15 minutes to respond tho, cause I gotta go do smth rq)
Here it is:
You need to make a trigger loop and have the channel that the block code activates on the same channel as the loop. Oh, and you need to connect the property to a counter.
for some odd reason, the lasers do not spawn at all.
Weird. You have the channel names spelled correctly, right? And there is a channel in the activate laser channel? You should also check if your spawn is at the laser.
You have some of the channels mixed up.
oh.
well that explains it
which ones?
