Help with item spawners

How do I deactivate item spawners, once the item is collected by the player?

I’ve never been able to find that out, but I’d say by putting it at the max spawn time after being collected

Can you provide a screenshot pls :3

you can activate a barrier over it, or make a button that grants an item with animation of the thing moving up and down, for this just deactivate the button.

these are the alternatives I can think of.

You could also try making a side area where the player collects the item from the item spawner. When the item is collected, the player is teleported back to the main area and a barrier is activated, blocking them from reentering the area the item spawner is in.

i was thinking a simpler version of what @Yolk said is to just not tp someone back to the main area but to just have it item collected activate barrier and they still are in he area they were before

Do what @chrysostom said.

Isn’t there an option for how many times an item can be picked up in the item spawner? Or is it the respawn setting and you choose the don’t respawn option for the item granter…?

I swear I saw that option too, but i checked and its not there.

But I’ve used it before! It’s in one of the options that’s for sure…
Which one is the question. I might be able to check.

but can I use an invisible barrier? or use invisible vending machines instead of buttons?

Yes Invisible barrier works well.

you CAN use vending machines instead of buttons…

BUT

A button and an item granter is more memory efficient
