So in my difficulty chart map, i have a game overlay that teleports you to a merchant. But I want their progress to be saved Ex: If someone was in the middle of summit 7,and wanted to go the merchant,they would lose all their progress and would have to start over.
Does anyone know how you could save your progress before you teleport so that after you’re done buying from the merchant,you can tp back to where you were standing?

It could be done, it would just take a lot of checkpoints

Simplest way you could do this is using the Checkpoint and Respawn Device. Once you teleport the player to the shop and they’re finished with it, you can activate the Respawn Device to respawn them back at the last checkpoint. However this means if the player didn’t touch a checkpoint, they may lose their progress.
I’d rather suggest using a Popup Call to Action if possible and integrate your shop system through there. If you don’t have the Season Ticket, you could alternatively just make a standard Popup shop.

Still…the checkpoint needs to be activated for it too work.
iirc the player will respawn at the last checkpoint they touched. You can just place a checkpoint in the middle of the summit so they respawn back there.
well my checkpoints are zones, so i made sure they can’t miss it

but yeah checkpoint and respawn device should work unless average has settings that cause you to lose items if ya respawn or otherwise it’s block time :3
i just checked, and i have it on keep items when respawned
so it should be fine
