I have a map but it would be cool if you could see a picture the map by pressing a game overlay button.

you can’t add a map overview or image to you maps, so sorry but this can’t be done as of right now.

There is no way to upload custom images as of now, but the easiest way to recreate a map using a popup would likely be to use square colored emojis to mark key points.
