Help with a Chess Game

I am trying to make a chess game I have the board set, but but how do I make it so that there are pawns, and other pieces, capturing, and set the way they move?

How to make a Chess Board(Not the mechanics)

Im going to show you how to make a chessboard and the pieces that go along with it. Im also going to try and make the actual game but thats going to take a while . Lets start this tutorial.
