So I need to get the roomId to add better functionality and interactivity in my Gimkit map. I already tried making API requests to https://www.gimit.com/api/matchmaker/find-info-from-code with code, but it never returns the proper roomId, i always get something wrong and much shorter. TL;DR: I know checking the requests gimkit makes to the network that they use that URL to find roomId but it never works for me, any other options, or am I just doing it wrong?
Idk about this one. Figuring out where a host is running the game would require a third party, which, to my knowledge, is currently not a thing in gkc.
Third parties are a thing in the gimkit community. But I plan on doing this myself for my game, as it is necessary to know the roomId. I know this should be possible.

Edit: when I pulled up the page in a page source viewer, it gave me “invalid token.” are you sure this website exists?

Are you talking about the series of numbers and letters after the link to a hosted game? Many people are confused. I think if that is what you are talking about, there might be a way to decode it. (Welcome to the forums!)

Also, why do you need the roomId? I don’t think you can use it for anything.
You have to add a k after the m in gimit, it should spell gimkit
