Help/Feedback/Ideas

So after a LOT of the systems in my game breaking and finally fixing them im almost finished with the game and going to do pub testing! But before i work on any abilities or other final systems i wanna know.

What tasks would you like?
What things should be in my DBD type game?
Is 10 damage good for main attack?
Should each character have custom health amounts?
Should you be able to K.O the hunter?
LORE?? (Give some please)
Map ideas? (different types of maps or map voting)

  1. Generators would be the standard task.
  2. Don’t play DBD so idk
  3. Yes :).
  4. Most characters should have the same amount of health, but it all depends on what the character does. 100HP is fine.
  5. No. ‘Nuff said
  6. Well, I need more context on your game.
  7. You should do map voting.

Now, if you don’t mind, I have one question. Do you mind showing me what the kilIer’s screen looks like in-game? Ditto for a survivor.

if the game isn’t scary like dbd, you can add creative titles to the tasks
stuff like
“Disrespect the old man”
“Steal t*ilet”
“put rocks in pillows”
“Teach the parrot curse words”
“put salt on cookies”
“burn ice”

Game gotta be funny yk?

  1. Not too difficult a task, maybe collecting something, fixing something, etc…
  2. I dunno.
  3. Depends on how much base health the opposing person has.
  4. Depends on the character. Don’t overbuff an already good character.
  5. Yes.

Like the character select or the UI on the screen when playing?

Both would be nice :). (Research for my own forsaken game)
Edit: answer to question 2

  1. There should be crouching to go through tight spaces, sprinting (I guess you already have that), and maybe “jumping” (really just a button that pops up asking you to “jump” down or up things)

This is for the hunter

^The character select is not finished btw

Bottom right corner will be an inventory

Yes! But to make up for only having 1 ability you can find items around the map that will give you buffs or stuff like that.

For the hunter the more people you “capture” the better you ability becomes.

  1. Original stationary tasks are good enough, but if you have to do something different then something really simple(example: go to a place, click a button, go to another place, click another button)
  2. Make intersctables like the original windows and planks
  3. No, way too little(if survivors have at least 100hp)
  4. Sure
  5. It would be really weird and you have to really change the balance
