Edit: One more thing Agent99, would you like a medieval jail cell? Or a Sci-Fi futuristic one? Medieval is much more common, but I’ve made a Sci-Fi jail cell in my time.
Hi, you can use the metal pole prop to make the bars of a jail cell

If you want shading just use the Barrier device
The one I made was top down, but if you’d want to do platformer I’d recommend just layering 2 barriers ;-;

I recommend using some type of stone for the walls, specifically Stone (light). I think its the best terrain to use when building a jail cell, considering stereotypical ones are made using stone. Flooring is a bit trickier, after all you want to use a different terrain to add a bit more depth. I think adding a darker colored stone, specifically Stone (dark) will probably be your best bet. I tried it out and it looks kinda like this
Obviously I know it looks very bland and basic at the moment, but that just means we need to add more decor! I would start with a bed, you can always make your own bed using other props or the custom shape tool, but for time purposes I think the medieval bed would do just fine (it doesn’t matter if you choose the horizontal or vertical version)
You’ll also probably want to add a t0ilet of some sorts. Unfortunately Gimkit has no pre made t0ilet prop, so you’ll have to make your own. The easiest way to make one is by placing down a text box and using the t0ilet emoji. However, that looks really unnatural considering gimkits graphic design. Other ways you could make a t0ilet include using the custom shape tool or making your own using barriers and other props.
OH! I almost forgot, your jail cell needs bars. To do this, I would use metal poles. It just gives off jail vibes, and adds to the aesthetic. You could also use barriers to make your own, but the poles should work just fine.

I second the metal bars opinion, but you could also try a bicycle rack. Here’s what using a bicycle rack as a gate looks like in my example jail cell:
Me personally, whenever I place down terrain, I like to put it down in patterns, so, as you can see from my example, I’ve used the terrain layering feature to pattern my dungeon terrain, but that’s just me, this is optional, in my opinion it looks better.
Ah, nevermind…it seems you’d like a sci-fi one anyway, I’ll do that for you momentarily.

yes I would like extra feachures
In that case, adding on to my previous post: Id add either the moss prop and place it around the cell. This could add more sci Fi element, especially if you maybe added a chemical bottle spilled over beside it. I would also maybe remove some of the wall and add ground breaking plants spilling outside the walls and coming up from the floor

As for the sci-fi element…(I just love styling terrain) Here is a sci-fi cell floor:
I have no further ideas, so I will try to upgrade and expand on this idea, I’ll update you with what I’ve created momentarily.

Use the bicycle rack stacked on top of itself to represent bars

Just an FYI, this should be in Help
To make a jail cell, just use metal poles (For a more secure look) or wooden poles (for a medieval look), and make the flooring around it a terrain, that is “Wall”
