Has Item drop on death been patched?

I was trying to find a guide for it, and a guide I found said it was patched because inventory item mangers can’t be deactivated anymore.

I’m not so sure because some have the option while others don’t.
It probably doesn’t work anymore though.

You can suggest it to be added again in the nolt though.
