Guide to making biomes for tag/hide-in-see/rp games!

tbh, I don’t really have a good intro, but I hope this guide is helpful.

ice for now biome
  • cool stuff to add to your boring snow biome
ice?

ice! no not like that, I’m talking about realistic ice in a non realistic game. it all began when I wanted to make my snow biome, an awesome one, so I decided to use my very big brain to use this thing in devices called “speed modifier” and “zone” when you click on the speed modifier, you should change the speed to about “0.50” then use the wires to connect the zones (that you should place on the ice) and when you start the game, you should be able to walk really slow on the ice! hope this made me sound smart :grimacing:

that’s literally it for the snow biome sorry, I’ll try to update it…

welp that’s literally it, I’ll try to update it but I tried to organize it the best I could and it took about 3 hours so I got kinda impatient…

was this a good/helpful guide?

Excellent guide, I must say!

I do like the fact of mentioning transparency! That is super helpful!

I do have some cool stuff I have made on a top-down, I will share them.

Peaceful River

Do not worry about the gates, those are just extras.
I used wooden poles to make a bridge, I would also use 3D terrain for the best appearance!
Using coral props will also help :)
You could also implement flowers, trees, bushes and anything! My example is a forest.

Beach

Again, you don’t need to worry about the character.

This a beach consisting of layered sand to make “piles” of sand, I also have @Jobozo1875 with a shovel as decoration. I would place down shells like you have and maybe try to make beach chairs made of prop art I guess?

One thing I would do, add some excitement to the beginning and throughout the guide :D

Yes I do agree but not everyone has the season ticket

sorry me thinking it was something else like a fence.

Amazing guide!
I love how the props in the sea are slightly transparent to give it an underwater effect!

Bump, should I add more to this?

This is a really good guide, should it be in Community Guides?

I put it to community made guides, but I thing one of the regulars changed it to art…

It should stay there, this is a guide with art such as prop art and terrain art.
(I mean to keep it in art)
