A hardware reset is same as a shutdown.
It works on every computer.
Your data will still be there.

alright i have an update: prodigy zendesk thinks there is something wrong with the new chromeos update/my computer, so this could apply here

ok there must be something wrong with my map because this happens on my ipad pro (it passes as a computer for some reason), and still happens on my chromebook

news: it’s gone now, but weird how it happened. the bug is fixed in exchange for more lag >:(
