Sometimes in a platformer, the game glitches and I can only go right or left. I can stop myself by holding the opposite direction, but it doesn’t let me go in that direction. I can fix this by reloading, but a while later it always comes back. Any advice on this?
Another buggy thing
Sometimes, and randomly, the game glitches me down or up to a different place. It’s not that bad, but it can be very annoying, based on the place it randomly warps me. It’s always close to the place I started in, but it can throw me off platforms sometimes and is very glitchy.
If you want proof of this, I’m sorry, but I don’t have any. The glitch only happens once in a while, and I usually quit when it happened.
Have you ever tried pressing the key that goes in the same direction? I’ve had some faulty keys before that forced me to move in one direction, but pressing the button that goes in that direction made it stop. Or, if it isn’t related to that, then did you try starting the game do anything like that or did you just leave immediately?
I also found out that pausing to look at leaderboard or inventory undos it. But I don’t think anything can get rid of it forever… I also got the glitch. Here are some pictures. (I don’t know how to video it, so I’m using pictures)
I think it is just a bug but to stop it, you need to press the direction that its moving and it should stop. Try and tap it and after press the other way to stop yourself
I think it happens when you swap tabs while holding down right or left, so the game thinks you’re going that direction until you reload. (Or open the leaderboard in your case)
You’re playing on mobile, and since Gimkit Creative isn’t supported for mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.), a lot of bugs happen with mobile devices.
I couldn’t correctly reproduce the bug, so this is most likely your device problem. I recommend you have a laptop or PC for a less buggier expierence.
Same, it’s very annoying, most of the time I just reload the game (or rage-quit :|)
I think it’s because platformer is still a fairly new thing, and some glitches have not been worked out yet. (btw, i’m talking about the teleporting one)
I have this problem. My friends call it the ‘walking glitch’. It happens if you hold on the button for too long. I usually just press the button going in the same direction that you’re moving. For example, if you’re stuck going left, press the left button.
I now know that a lot of people had this glitch. I also now also know that it will happen less often if I use a computer instead. Thank you to all of you guys!
