In order to update Gimkit, they need money. The domain costs money, whatever they use to code probably costs money, etc.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) money makes the world go around. On top of needing money to continue to keep gimkit up and make it work, they also need money to provide for themselves (food, shelter, water). It isn’t just cause they’re greedy
