If in awards, if you nominate a game made by you, it won’t get in right?
Only if alot of other people also nominate it (around 50-100)
I don’t recommend just nominating your work. While it’s nice to get recognized, this event is to recognize the community’s awesome accomplishments. If everyone were to nominate themselves, we wouldn’t really have anyone to nominate or recognize now. Hm?
Now with our polling system being undecided, we wouldn’t know exactly if you were to vote for yourself. You could probably do it, but once again, this is to recognize everyone’s work.

If you need a web designer, I’m pretty good at it. Or maybe the team that made the wixsite could do it; the wixsite is awesome!
Those numbers are absolutely insane. We didn’t get a single nominee last year with more then 10 nominations (Well, except for maththrive, but he was disqualified), much less 50-100. Reasonable expectation would be that your game would need like three nominations, maybe four depending on how many nominations we end up having total. Point being, you should expect it to be enough nominations to where if you nominate yourself once or twice, you probably still won’t get into final vote.

Suggestion for new category:
Best Group Game
The closest thing we have to this is best classroom game, but this would be an entirely different category. Games that are popular to play during the Discord Game Nights for example are games that would fit great in this category.
Requirements for a game to be in this category:

Game has to be played with a group and can’t be played solo or is at least better to play with a group than alone.
-
Is best played with a group of friends but not as much in a classroom.
This would open a whole new opportunity for creators to make their games.

As GlowingTurtle said, I’m almost positive that the awards team has already been fully built, and I don’t think anyone else is going to be added. But, since you’re a graphic designer, you could try getting into making Gimkit fanart, and try to get proposed for best Gimkit fanartist. The best place to promote your art here is canva. Try to do some thumbnail requests to get practice!

Hey, plenty of thumbnail requests are posted all the time! You can look for them in Art and people really appreciate it when someone makes a good thumbnail. If you can’t be on the team, you might as well try for an award!
I think the artistic awards are Best Fanartist and Best GKC Artist.
