Wait so artist: in-game
Fanartist - out of game
I’m really bad at drawing but I have created some epic things in-game.
So fanart = category
is art in game category?

lil sum-up
I kinda wanna nominate Mathew for this, they’re pretty good at stuff like that!
(me I’m just a terrain art gal)
Ok, so how do (would) we submit art? What does the Barrier, prop, and terrain have to be?
I’m not sure about “submitting”
but the art stuff can be anything (not inappropriate though, ofc)
Is there any size limit, (like my entire among us map area), or is it specific areas, or can it not be a part of your map, you do know that some people my have to take apart mechanics to get to the art right?
Are you allowed to recommend other peoples art?
I’m assuming that the size limit is as big as you can fit in one screenshot, so using mods to do that is a way to expand that.
As long as it doesn’t break rules, like advertising.
So like if I were to recommend A guide that I didn’t make that’s still advertising, right?
I took multiple screenshots and stuck them together.
I think that’s fine.
I’m assuming so.
To be nominated in an art category, I guess the best way to do so is to become more popular with your works.
A question is in last year’s Gimkit Awards you said something like there’ll be a category for best skin and gadget next Gimkit Awards, what is that exactly?
Maybe it’ll be like custom skins and gadgets…I don’t know for sure though.
An Unstable representative is coming, please hold…
Not going to lie, had no clue what you were asking for a hot minute. Basically, the original idea for that was that we’d have 5 additional categories, one for you to name your favorite out of each rarity of skin (Uncommon, rare, epic, legendary), and one for your favorite gadget. It ended up falling through though, mostly because we entirely forgot to do it. Yeah, no other reasons, we just genuinely forgot, and no one actually said anything about it. Maybe we’ll try to run that this year, if there’s still some interest in it being a category.
How do you win in that?
Okay so. “recommendation” Is the nomination phase of voting, where we’ll have a website and you can drop whatever maps/creators/artists/content creators you think are deserving of winning a given category. The competition is built around people not nominating their own stuff (which is why everything has to have a certain number of nominations to be able to get into final vote, and that number will be chosen after nominations get finished).
Not a “People win” More of a “Just for fun” Kinda thing.
Could be anything. This is an awards ceremony, not a competition. Think a few of y’all still have that mixed up.
It’s basically the difference between showing off the community’s hard work, rather then showing how the community can work hard.
If in awards, if you nominate a game made by you, it won’t get in right?
Only if alot of other people also nominate it (around 50-100)
I don’t recommend just nominating your work. While it’s nice to get recognized, this event is to recognize the community’s awesome accomplishments. If everyone were to nominate themselves, we wouldn’t really have anyone to nominate or recognize now. Hm?
Now with our polling system being undecided, we wouldn’t know exactly if you were to vote for yourself. You could probably do it, but once again, this is to recognize everyone’s work.
that’s my thing, haha… O.o
