If you want to make a guide, you need to have, well, the actual guide, lol. If you need help, put it in the help topic! All the names are pretty self explanatory.

Guys/@here just chill, like he said, he’s NEW to the forums.
He is probably asking for help on how to make a star wars-styled map.

Regulars have the power to resort topics into appropiate categories, I think…

Umm how do you make a guide?

its easy! first, you have to put it in the community made guides category, so people will know its a guide.
then, make the guide on whatever you want! make sure the guide is original and helpful too. go in depth on each thing you’ll be teaching, and if you can do that, you’ll be set !!

The no thumbnails rule was “made” by the community, so you can ask staff if thumbnail requests are OK instead as the community has no power over those said rules. Meaning it’s probably still OK to post thumbnail requests anyways.

If you count the rules saying that only topics about building in gkc are allowed being a community made rule, then yes, this is a community made rule.

Uhm… I just reread the replies and I really don’t think anyone was being “not chill” or hostile, so there wasn’t really any need for that comment. Everyone was just telling him/her that this isn’t a guide.

They haven’t said anything about it, but…

Implying that topics and posts that aren’t about GKC will be removed, thumbnail requests aren’t related to building in GKC, so they are bound to be removed. Most of the community is also against thumbnail requests.

A lot have asked them if thumbnail requests were allowed or not, still no response yet. And, if you post a thumbnail request, you’ll be likely flagged, since most of the community is against them, and they’re off-topic.

But the 5day bumping rule was enforced by the community, if they have power to do that, wouldn’t the no thumbnail requests rule be enforced as well since most of the community agrees so?
