Just an old bug that Gimkit hasn’t fixed yet for some reason. I think Jeff acknowledged this bug a while ago.

There is an easy fix that is so unknown that nobody in mankind has discovered it. Long ago, a man had this exact same problem. He was furious that this happened on his map for no reason. Then, he hiked up on top of a mountain to meet a guru which took 40 years. The guru said many wise things, and the most important was:
“don’t press the backspace button”

I’m pretty sure that Cassius, or @CassiusDoomlorde found this bug already. It was in a discord gimkit server bugs post. I don’t know if gimkit will patch this, but I’m sure they will eventually so maybe wait a bit.

I’m pretty sure this happens because if you select something then your screen dims a little except for the settings. Same thing when you end a game. It might just be a error in the code and I don’t think you’d ever have to spam backspace so they didn’t worry about fixing it.
