I always have to double-tap the wire to delete it. Does anyone know why this happened? Has this happened to anyone else?
Do you mean when you’re in the eraser menu? If you’re on mobile, that might be why, but it might have something to do with selecting the wire element, and then using the erase function on the selected element.
No, it happens to me too, and I’m on chromebook, I have no idea why.
This is a function bug, unfortunately…
When you delete the wire, it comes back to life (put it it simply) before disappearing for good the second time.
To fix this, copy one of the devices you’re wiring, delete the original, and rewire as needed!

Ok, so it’s not just me
!!! I always delete the wire, and then when I close the menu it’s still there, and then I’m worried I deleted something REALLY IMPORTANT…
Like BountyHunterX said, it’s probably just a random glitch, nothing serious
can you at least show a picture of what’s wrong?
It’d have to be a GIF/video.
Basically what happens is that you open the delete menu and delete a wire. Then, as soon as you exit out of the menu, it re-appeares. Or, when you click it it doesn’t go away, so you have to double-click it to delete it fully.
it happens to me ![]()
I think it does for everyone

You can use these: <> to hide text and bypass the 20 character limit.

Im pretty sure this is a feature (not a bug) where Gimkit thinks you want to delete/edit a previous device and opens/deletes the previous one instead of the one you want.
maybe this might help, you can try to double click with the eraser tool, or clicking the wire again after it fails. If the wire is unclickable, deleting it is a good idea. instead of clicking the wire on the screen, try opening the device settings that has the wire, going to the wires option, and deleting it there.
Gimkit_Lover I’m on the computer.
