If I have a mechanic that I want to duplicate (For example: a dice), then if I copy the entire thing, I lose all of the block code in my triggers that I have just copied. Then, I have to go one by one and copy the individual triggers to get a copy of the block code in them. I don’t think that I am somehow copying them wrong, this is just a bug that needs to be fixed.
have you perhaps tried refreshing and how many things are you copying?
It doesn’t work. This glitch happens to me frequently. It randomly selects on of the block codes and applies it to all applicable devices. You will have to go 1 by 1
Congrats on regular @TorontoBulls1! Now back to the point, copying blocks is not super effective for some reason and doesn’t work well on gimkit. But because blocks are made up of compressed java script, you might be able to inspect the site code and see what changes when that error, occurs from when it doesn’t. Maybe then you can see what the issue is. Maybe i’m just overthinking it but it is just a start. That or email gimkit at hello@gimkit.com.
well i just surprised my self by being correct on this.
It’s probably because gimkit doesn’t want you to copy too much memory at once…
There’s an annoying glitch where if you copy a trigger with another device, the trigger loses it’s block code.
Or if they both have block code one gets overridden by the other and they have duplicate code.
By posting it here, I have reported it to the mods.
I mean at the email its more effective
